Dreamy Homeware: Camila Prada

Meet Camila Prada - she's a UK based ceramic artist with a creative eye and a love for all things fun in ceramics. Her work has some serious personality which after checking out her social media you will see it comes straight from it's creator - Camila is a seriously driven ceramicist (pretty cool right?) who really does want her brand to be personal and unique.

I've been stalking Camila's Instagram for quite a long time now. I first saw some of her behind the scenes pictures of her work during the firing process and was hooked. There's something about seeing the creative process that really intrigues me and Camila really does share it all from the designs to the final products!

Her work is distinct, characterful and basically awesome. The storage jars, mugs and sugar shakers can be mixed and matched so really all the designs I've seen would look good together or as individual focus piece. I like the idea of using the storage jars in the kitchen for sugar etc and in the living room for pops of colour.

Of all the designs I saw Camila produced this year were Maurice and Margot (see pics below) - I love stripes but saw these very late in the game so am gutted I missed out on these :( Of course I love her pandas (go check those out!) and the rest of the collections - there's too much great stuff!

So if like me you left it late for Christmas it's too late - everything is sold out*!! Roll on 2016 and new stock because when I finally get my house I will be stocking up on these cuties! Make sure to stalk Camila via social media to see how the whole ceramic process works and also you can see her feature how people have used her products in their homes!

I love homeware!

*Update: Camila will be releasing new creatures to the shop very soon! Exciting!
