HAIR IN TECHNICOLOUR: Going Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

I realised when last in the hair salon that I have written about my hair and the tornado of pain I have put it through alot. So for those who have stuck around with me here I have decided to turn 'Hair in Technicolour' into a series as I'm not done with changing my hair and I suspect never will be. Pre-warning in advance; don't give me crap about changing my hair so often, I know it's bad for it but I do this fully aware of the dangers and consequences. Plus I can make the mistakes so you guys don't have to!

Anyway onto the newest change and from the title and my social media posts you already know I went pink! Pink was a colour I was saving for some reason (my hair ideas/time frames are odd) but after a call from the lovelies at Lisa Shepherd Birmingham if I'd take part in an upcoming event it became my newest colour. The colour was done as part of the Lisa Shepherd Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising event at the end of October which was done across all the salons.

October is 'Think Pink' month and I was lucky enough to be invited to have my colour done for free as it will be used in social media promotion etc As it was for charity I donated what it would normally cost for my hair appointment to Breast Cancer Awareness as a thank you because I'm not a d**k.

It's been about a week now and the colour has faded in areas but overall it's going strong. I'm so indecisive so I don't know if this shade of pink will be the one I choose on my next appointment but then that's the madness of my mind; what colour will be next?  One thing I have noticed is that my roots look huge so maybe pink hair dye is like miracle grow for my hair....

If you would like to donate and/or fundraise for Breast Cancer Research please do so. There are lots of charities out there who all would love the help and it's an amazing cause to support.

What do you guys think of the pink?
