Lip care for cold weather: Dr Lipp Nipple Balm

It's cold people, I mean reeeeeeal cold out there! The weather has decided to finally show it's wintery side with high winds, rain and a huge drop in temperature which means I end up with dry skin and cracked lips :( but then again don't we all?

Normally as part of my morning lip routine I put on whatever lip balm I have to hand but I have found that this now isn't enough and I need a lip defender to battle the chap! I have been turning more and more to an old favourite in Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips

Dr Lipp Nipple Balm

In August 2014 I got a sample size in a delivery and fast became obsessed with the mini tube. I was first a little put off by the dense texture and odd colour but I got over it pretty quickly as the result was great. I began to use it more and more before I put on highly pigmented lipsticks and lip glosses as I found it made the application more even and last longer. Needless to say this mini tube got used up extremely quickly and I just forgot to repurchase - my lips missed it dearly.

Roll on to February of this year and during some more very cold months my lips were basically the texture of dry desert - yuck! I hated the tight, dry texture I had to my lips every day and it really began to annoy me that no balm was lasting long enough throughout the day. I thought back and remembered my mini tube of Dr Lipp's Nipple Balm and knew it was time to snap a full size. It kept my lips beautiful and in great condition during the colder times and actually became a go-to product since. I use it on holidays, as an eye shadow base (especially when I use lots of glitter), cheek highlighter and I will always use this under lipsticks.

A huge thing to point out is this baby is 100% natural and has a medically proven formula which I won't go on about here but it's impressive!
Now as the cold weather comes back with vengeance and it's Dr Lipp to the rescue again! I've already bought this for friends and relatives who suffer the same chapped lips issue in the cold and they use it constantly too - it's normally £12 for 15ml but currently on Beautybay.com it's £10.50 so you may want to grab it now if you need some lip protection. As you can tell by this post I'm a huge fan of this product and if you can snap up a sample from somewhere I would urge you to try it - believe me you won't regret it!
