A Body Polish like No Other - Beauty Kitchen

Have you ever tried a Body Polish?

I was lucky enough to be sent over the 'Inspire Me - Brightening & Toning Body Polish' by Beauty Kitchen and for me it was a beauty revelation. I've owned this beauty from late April, early May and it has become a central part of my bodycare routine. It sounds silly to say now but I had just forgotten the exfoliate part of taking care of my body's skin and it had really started to look well... dull. Thankfully this stuff solved that issue.

Beauty Kitchen Body Polish

Here's the official key ingredients (100% natural):
- Himalayan Pink Salt – this stuff is purifying and detoxifying whilst is gently exfoliates the skin.
- Abyssinian Oil – A light, non-greasy oil, rich in Omega 3 that will hydrate the skin in seconds.

And here's the best thing:
Freshly made in the UK with no parabens, no sulphates, no synthetic fragrance, no this, no that, no the other…
- NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS! This is awesome!

And the rest: Sodium chloride (Himalayan Pink Salt), vitis vinifera (Grapeseed Oil), helianthus annuus (Sunflower Oil), ricinus communis (Castor Oil), prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet Almond Oil), sesamum indicum (Sesame Oil), olea europaea (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), crambe abyssinica (Abyssinian Oil), tocopherol (Vitamin E), salvia officinalis (Sage Leaf), citrus aurantium dulcis (*Orange Sweet), litsea cubeba (*Litsea Maychange), cymbopogon flexuosus (*Lemongrass), mentha spicata (*Spearmint), ocimum basilicum (*Basil), citrus paradisi (*Grapefruit), foeniculum vulgare dulce (*Sweet Fennel), citrus reticulata (*Mandarin Red), mentha piperita (*Peppermint), limonene, linalool, citral, citronellol, eugenol, geraniol *Natural pure essential oils

As you can see from the picture below the ingredients almost separate when it's been left to stand. This picture was taken when I first received it but what I found is that once you have mixed it together and scooped some onto your skin it blends beautifully. I used it before I hopped into the shower, all over my legs normally and then in the shower for the rest of my body - I'm over 6ft so those legs take work!

The Smell:
The scent of this body polish is just heavenly. It comes from the 'Inspire Me' scent of the range and is actually the nicest scented body product I've ever used - yep I said EVER! It's not one of those ones citrus scents that is over powering but it is one of those fresh scents you just keep smelling - believe me it gets addictive.

For me what is the most attractive thing about this body polish is that it works. I've seen a real improvement in the tone of my skin and overall my skin feels hydrated and smooth. I normally have quite dry skin on my legs after shaving and this has just disappeared since I've incorporated this polish into my routine so it's a firm favourite.

What I will say is I haven't seen much of a difference in areas of cellulite or stretch marks as the packaging claims it does do. From my use of it so far I do think this would happen over long term use so I'm going to have to grab some more asap and build on all this good work!

Now it's all gone what I'm left with is another thing I adore, an adorable recycled glass kilner jar. If you've ever met me or read this blog before you will know how obsessed I am with glass ware so this is going straight onto the makeup table to store my sponges. Really this brand have give me a win win :)

This Body Polish retails at £14.99 (200g) which is a real bargain for a UK made, natural product. I was lucky enough to be sent it over by Beauty Kitchen and they must have knew it would win them a life long customer. I now have to smell and try out the rest of the range so keep your eye out for more from Beauty Kitchen in future here on bbyb.co.uk.
