Techy Review: Otterbox Commuter Phone Case

I love my phone.

I'm also very clumsy and not ashamed to say I've smashed a few along the way :( so when I got my IPhone 5S (treated myself on the upgrade) I knew I had to protect it from myself.

Originally I had the Otterbox defender which is the heaviest duty phone cover I think you can get. I had that in the same neon pink as my new one for about a year and as it had a rubber finish it got VERY dirty so I decided to try a dfferent case....

The Otterbox Commuter series Wallet:
(£29.99)

Here's the specs from the website:
  • Plastic shell* for iPhone 5/5s wallet case enhances the features of your original Commuter Series case
  • Wallet drawer protects your iPhone from damage and discretely holds your cash and cards
  • Audible click closure of polycarbonate shell for iPhone 5/5s wallet case gives you peace of mind knowing the items inside are safe and secure
  • Slick exterior of the wallet shell is slim enough to slide easily in and out of pockets, allowing you to access your cash and cards quickly.

The best part of the case in the hidden sliding compartment at the back of the phone. It saves so much time when I'm searching for my card or cash in the bottom of my bag (which we all do) as I know that's where it always is.

I guess the only downfall to this fabulous feature if my phone is stolen, (touch wood it isn't) both my card and any cash is gone too. But hopefully that doesn't happen and I don't have to stress too much about it.

So if you are looking for some serious phone protection I'd direct you to the Otterbox Defender but if you're not as clumsy as me go for the Otterbox Commuter. They offer their own guarantees so you don't have to take it from me plus there are reems of raving reviews from top phone manufacturers.

How do you protect your tech?
