Review: GLAMGLOW Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment

This is a quick review that I know has been done to death by many bloggers... But I've only just got around to so wanted to throw my opinion hat in the ring :)
I have oily/combination skin that has been problematic of late. When this happens I tend to look for masks to help exfoliate my skin and provide some relief. I looked on my skincare shelf and to my horror it was bare.... I had to order something fast!!!
Because of this desperation to sort my skin out I hadn't done my usual review trawl when opting for this GlamGlow mask, I went solely on hype....... this can lead to all sorts of great discoveries...

I ended up buying the 'GlamGlow YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment' from lookfantastic along with some other items (see my haul here) for £34.99 which I thought was reasonable for such a highly starred product.

When it arrived I opened the box and instantly smiled.... that's a win for the box alone!

The pot it comes in is cute and smaller than I expect but sits rather nicely on my beauty shelf - this is important don't you know!

On opening, the product looks a little odd as the water/moisture is separated and you have to mix it up to make sure it can be easily applied to the skin. I found in the hot weather recently that I had to do this and get it on my face fast as it began to dry out on my fingers.

It's really easy to smooth over the skin and I was surprised that I only needed a small amount for maximum coverage. I liked the mild scent and consistency as you apply it and the overall tingly sensation as it dries.
My favourite part is as the colour changes and mattifies you literally begin to struggle to move your face. I had a funny encounter with my brother who was horrified when I struggled to talk to him with it on!

In the heat of my house my mask took around 5 minutes to fully dry but I left it on for 15 minutes whilst I had a cup if tea.

Once I washed it off I did notice a lovely glow to my skins surface which was intensified when I applied moisturiser later that evening.

For the few days after using the mask my skin did feel brighter and less oily. I'm not saying it's a miracle worker but definitely a little skin pick me up that I will use when I feel my skin needs a little extra attention.

Plus I have to get my BF to try it as I just found this pic of Michael Buble with it and just couldn't stop laughing!!
