How are we all today?
Just a little post today about a box of goodies I purchased from lookfantastic.com :)
GLAMGLOW Youth Mud Face Mask (£34.99)
This purchase is 100% due to social media hype and other blogger reviews. I am really looking forward to trying it due to the aforementioned hype but am waiting for that perfect relaxing night in to really try it out.
Philip Kingsley Shampoo for itchy flaky scalps (£49)
This is a repurchase for me. Ever since a rather awful salon took me from black hair to bright blonde in one hit some years ago and really burnt my scalp (I was young and stupid...) I have been left with a majorly temperamental scalp. If any of you have suffered with dandruff you know it can be rather embarrassing and annoying, even though it's only dry skin there is a stigma associated with it.
I have used this product now for maybe two years and have really since a dramatic improvement in my scalp and overall hair quality. I always buy the salon sizes as I love it soooo much and it lasts ages as I only use it on my scalp and not on the entirety of my hair.
*Big thumbs up and love for Philip Kingsley*
Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner (£50.50)
I have always lusted after Bumble and Bumble products after a salon used them on my hair some time ago. From the blurb it promises alot so I'm hoping it turns out to be true.
"La crème de la comb, this luxurious detangler softens your unmanageable curly, coarse or chemically treated hair. This nutritious conditioner contains several conditioning agents that ease wet combing, increasing elasticity and shine."
I can't believe it's taken me this long to get around to actually buying their products so I decided to jump in feet first and buy the salon size of 1000ml (hence the price!) - I have a hell of a lot of hair so I'm hoping this lasts :)
I have to have some form of lip balm near me at all times, in every bag and always in my car.... it's that product I'd opt to take with me to a desert island kind of thing. Sooo when I first used Burt's Bees many moons ago I was overcome with joy at how something so beautiful can be packaged in such cute little parcels. Basically, as you might have guessed from my girly scribbles all over the picture that I love Burt's Bees products and how they make my lips kissable and soft ;)
On a random side note to end this post.....
On Twitter about two weeks ago I saw a promo tweet offering free samples of MAC Prep + Prime and of course I snapped it up! I'm well aware it's an obvious marketing ploy for me to try their products and to gain my personal details but I don't care + I already adore MAC :) Isn't it so cute and tiny?!?
And Voila! that's the end of my haul. Do you have any desert island products like my lip balms?
